We were out at Surf Bar one night catchin up…talkin about everything and my new record got brought up. He wanted to hear it…And the next day he said, “You’re record is killer, I want to help you any way I can”…So I said, how about you sing on it tomorrow. And he did.
Just heard “The Rescue” this morning on my drive to work on WTMD and went right ahead and picked up your album. It is amazing! Best of luck and the greatest success to you.
I would love to make it to a show, but i am moving to London before you make it anywhere near me. Hopefully you will make it there soon enough.
Hey Megan, Thanks for reaching out. I hope you enjoy the record…And we will be in Europe soon enough. Wher are you now? Stay in touch through the Sonic Quilt! -JJB

as a son of the south and a charleston native and lover of the lowcountry you have captured that feeling during late september when the air is thick and sweet and the storms are coming up the corridor. thank you.
I have seen you perform with your band only on videos and have been waiting for the chance to catch a performance. OMG I went to the Pour House last night and I have to say you guys put on one of the best live music performances I have ever seen. You were all just electrifying! It seemed that you really had your heart into the show as your roots are here in the Lowcounty and I could tell you felt right at home, which of course you were. I can’t wait for New Years Eve when you said you’d be back…hopefully I cought that right! Thanks so much for an incredible evening. Will most def be purchasing your music. My new fav band!

James, I love your music. It reminds me of some more modern themes I would hear at the Carter Folds 5 in Hampton, VA. Keep up the good work my friend.
